Top LinkedIn Profile Tips!
With over 500 million LinkedIn users it can be hard to make your profile stand out from the crowd, but not to worry we have some expert tips to make your profile noticeable!
1. Symbols & Bullet points
Bullet points are often used to make information easier to read, so why not use them in your bio. Using other special characters like the ones below will also help draw the viewers attention to the points you wish to highlight.
Special characters:
★ ✪ ✯ ✰ ☛ ☚ ☜ ☞ ☟ ⇨ ► ◄ ► » ■ ♦ ◆ ● ✘ ☐ ☒ ✎ ✑ ✆ ☏
My favourite way of using special characters is in LinkedIn profile headlines, this is a sure fire way of drawing attention to your profile as people are scrolling!
Headline example: ✪ Grey Area Co | Online marketing & Sales trading ✪
2. Profile background photo
That space at the top of your LinkedIn profile is prime real estate, so please don't leave it empty! Photos paint a thousand words so use this space to your advantage. If you are unsure what to put, have a simple graphic (like the front of a business card) with your companies logo and what you do. You could also have your companies latest offers.

3. Endorsements
An often forgotten feature, endorsements are like a nod from people that know you & agree your skills are as good as you say! Visitors to your profile can see if they have any common connections that have endorsed you, which is like a seal of approval of your skills. You set what skills you want on you LinkedIn profile that will then be available for people to endorse, so make sure that the skills reflect you accurately.

4. Keep your profile alive
The best thing you can do for your LinkedIn profile is keep it active. Make sure your details are updated and post regularly to keep your connections caught up on your latest work!
